Debra Haynes-Thomas, 47, was arrested by police when they found 56-year-old Peter Wiepert's body in his Cheektowaga home.
Crime news stories writes, A Buffalo woman who beat her boyfriend to death with a ceramic statue as he dozed off has been sentenced to 22 1/2 years in prison.
The police found Debra Haynes-Thomas at a hotel not far from the couple's house.  She admitted that she hit her boyfriend multiple time with a statue after an argument.
